Your guide on your exciting photography & styling journey is Lyndsey James, a professional freelance Photographer, Tutor and Small Business Speaker.
Founder Lyndsey James is a renowned commercial photographer, helping businesses around the UK to tell their story in great imagery.
3 years ago she noticed a significant rise in designers & makers requesting her skills as a photographer, however at the same time a good level of digital camera technology was becoming more affordable. Lyndsey decided it was time to teach creatives how to do it for themselves, and Photocraft was born!
What is Photocraft®?
What started life as ‘Photograph your craft’ workshops hosted at venues around the UK quickly developed into a new Photocraft® trademarked brand, and a 100 Lesson E-Course plus freebie webinars, available to a global audience! The Photocraft team is now 4 people strong, delivering fun events both off and online.
Photocraft® Online Photography Courses
The flagship Photocraft® course is the 100 Lesson Photography & Styling E-course, and this provides a comprehensive series of lessons that will enable designers, makers, bloggers and bakers to produce quality photos of their creations in a range of situations and purposes.
In addition to this course, there are also mini webinars that provide a bite-size lesson in photography on a specific subject. Look out for those in our events calendar! We also host live workshops, photography retreats and appear at popular craft events.
Lyndsey now speaks and writes on the subject of commercial photography advice and has established her name as the industry’s expert when it comes to learning the art of product and lifestyle photography. She works with many well known industry names including Folksy, Etsy, Enterprise Nation, Triumph, Constant Contact, Craft Central and has appeared in various publications including The Guardian and Digital Photographer Magazine.
Lyndsey is in high demand, speaking around Europe at various craft events including this year the Triumph Women in Making workshops, The Etsy European Captain’s summits and on main stage at Kirstie Allsop’s Handmade Fair.
Although busy with the demands of Photocraft®, Lyndsey still loves to shoot for fabulous brands and is available for commercial lifestyle photo shoots across the UK and Europe. However, bookings need to be made well in advance as her diary gets booked up very quickly!
